Celebrate Valentine’s Day on a budget

Tozzi's on 12th offers affordable pasta dishes for you and your Valentine.

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to include a tuxedo, Champaign and a dozen red roses. It’s a day designed to show someone how much you care, not how much you’re willing to spend on them. Plan ahead and bring your Valentine to any of these affordable date locations.

Arcadia Grille – Take your date out for steak, seafood, pasta or chops at Arcadia Grille. On Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., you can enjoy a dinner for two for $25.

Tozzi’s on 12th – This Italian restaurant offers affordable pasta choices for you and your date.

The Auricle – You don’t always have to go to an expensive concert to hear good music. The Auricle will have open mic night on Feb. 14 from 9 p.m. until midnight. Admission is free, and a cup of coffee is only $1.

Movies 10 – Skip the long lines and the high prices at other theaters by catching a dollar movie. Matinee showings are even cheaper at $1.50 per ticket.

Canton Museum of Art – Show your date your artistic side. Spend the afternoon browsing the “Body Language” exhibit at the Canton Museum of Art. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for college students with an I.D.
